The DSD4111 is a low-cost HD STB utilising the very latest secure boot MPEG-4 processor technology from ST Microelectronics. The DSD4111 utilises an integrated 400 MHz, multi-standard MPEG-2 / MPEG-4 (H.264) High Definition processor with integrated DVB-S2 demodulator and features 8 / 16 MByte Flash and 128 MByte RAM.

The DSD4111 will be supplied with embedded conditional access technology and is packaged in a compact, electrostatically immune ABS enclosure with LED indicators (i.e. no front-panel display), and is supplied with a robust external power supply unit.

The DSD4110 high-definition set-top box is specifically designed to suit emerging DTH Pay-TV markets delivering industry leading quality and performance at market leading pricing. The DSD4110 employs a new generation STi7111 microprocessor incorporating the latest secure processor technology, and is equipped with an HDMI interface, component video, stereo audio outputs with digital audio S/PDIF, and a USB 2.0 port. In addition to an ISO 7816 compliant smartcard reader, the DSD4110 is equipped with a PCMCIA Common-Interface slot.

The DSD419 utilises a 400 MHz, multi-standard MPEG-2 / MPEG-4 (H.264) High Definition processor with integrated DVB-S2 demodulator and features 8 MByte Flash and 64 MByte RAM. The DSD419 is offered with either OpenTV or NDS Core 4 middleware and Nagravision or NDS embedded conditional access technology as our preferred configuration. The DSD419 will be packaged in a slim line all plastic enclosure and is supplied with a robust external power supply unit.

Alternative middleware and conditional access configurations are available with project timescales and product availability varing as a result.

The DTD410 is a value-engineered, MPEG-4 (H.264) Standard Definition terrestrial decoder and despite being aggressively priced, supports value added interactive services through an extenede memory footprint. The DTD410 is housed in a compact, elctro-statically immune ABS enclosure and to facilitate convenient in-field support, the DTD410 is supplied with a robust external power supply unit. Middleware options available support web browsing and video playback from an external storage device via the USB port.

Standard features include CVBS video and dual stereo audio outputs, an RF UHF re-modulator, a digital audio S/PDIF output and component video outputs. Full interactivity is supported through an extended memory footprint and a rear mounted USB 2.0 data port.

The DSD403 is available with OpenTV Core middleware and Irdeto conditional access technology and features a CA compliant smartcard reader in addition to a DVB-CI slot.
