In 2011 Altech sold 25,1% of Altech UEC to a Black Economic Empowerment consortium headed by Power Matla.
Power Matla was established in 1999 and through partnerships has grown to become an empowerment partner of choice to companies requiring a broad-based and or competent black partner to do business with in South Africa and the rest of Africa.
